کــــــــــاربردهای It

It در انگلیسی کاربردهای متعددی دارد که به برخی از آنها در زیر اشاره می شود.

1- اشاره به شی ء مفرد

There is a car in the street. It is blue.

2- اشاره به زمان

It is Monday.

It is 2 o"clock.

3- اشاره به هوا

It is raining. It is cold.

4- اشاره به مسافت

It is 10 Kms from here to Isfahan.

5- اشاره به شخص نامشخص

Who is it on the phone?

6- کاربرد در فرمول زیر

بقیه جمله + مصدر با to + صفت + is /was  + It

یکی از کاربردهای it استفاده در فرمول زیر می باشد که نشان دهنده یک امر کلی و عمومی

می باشد .

It + is / was + صفت + to مصدر با + بقیه جمله

It is dangerous to swim in the river.

It was difficult to climb a tall tree.

It + is / was + صفت + (for + (مفعول + to مصدر با + بقیه جمله
